Maxam+Co realized a new sense of space for fashion school, the Institute Group located in Chippendale, Australia.

對於這個項目，Maxam + Co通過對時尚的研究為年輕人創造出神聖的創意殿堂。首先映入眼簾的是建築物給人以強烈的空間感。教室、走廊甚至門廊都有一種寬闊感，流動的光線貫穿始終。形狀在空間內完美地呈現，提供有趣的元素，而不會顯得雜亂或失去與原始設計精神的聯係。

For this project Maxam+Co was able to create hallowed halls of creativity by building a place of style and substance for young minds to be empowered by the study of fashion. The first thing that strikes is the buildings overwhelming feeling of space. Class rooms, transitions and even doorways enjoy a sense of generosity and allow flow and light to permeate throughout. Shapes play beautifully within the space, providing elements of interest without crowding or losing connection to the spirit of the original design.

Contrasting levels present interesting corners and private spaces for young minds to retreat to. Polished concrete floors are elegant and spare. The sophisticated floor plan flows naturally through to large class room spaces – designed perfectly for learning and creativity. Ultimately the Institute Group by Maxam+Co is a stylish build that is testament to the stylish nature of the Sydney fashion industry.
